Fees and Length of Sessions
Each therapy session is a little less than an hour (50 minutes) at a fee of $240, to be paid by e-transfer after the session is complete. A receipt will be emailed to you after payment is received, which you can submit to any benefits providers that you have.

Free parking is available onsite. Turn onto Heritage Drive from Gordon Street and parking can be found to the left of the building. Cancellation Policy
Twenty-four hours notice is required for cancellations.
Should you need to cancel due to illness or an emergency, a time limit and charge will not apply.
**Clients will be billed the full therapy fee of $240 if the reason is outside of sickness or emergency, and 24-hours notice is not provided.

Provision of a Diagnosis
Dr. Liz Orr can provide a mental health diagnosis as a part of the treatment process. She does not provide formal assessments, nor does she provide psycho-educational assessments for children or adults.

Confidentiality
Information from therapy sessions is private; it cannot be shared with other individuals or sources without your informed consent.
There are, however, some exceptions to this rule of confidentiality:
1. If you disclose (or it becomes evident) that you are at risk of hurting yourself or others.
2. If you disclose (or it becomes evident) that a child has been, or is at risk of being physically, sexually, or emotional abused or neglected, or has been witness to violence in the home.
3. If you disclose that there has been sexual abuse towards a patient by a regulated health professional.
4. If there is a court-order to disclose information in a court proceeding.
5. If there is a report of abuse or neglect of residents living in Long Term Care Facilities or Retirement Homes.
6. If there is an audit from the therapist’s professional college to examine records to ensure quality of care.
